Trick or Treat at the RP2 Clubhouse

Dear River Plantation II Residents, 
 
On October 31st, we will be having a Trick or Treat at the RP2 Clubhouse Parking Lot from 5-8 PM, or perhaps longer if we get a lot of traffic.  We will be handing out store-bought individually-wrapped candy, which will be in treat bags for each child.
 
We will also be showing child-friendly Halloween movies on a big screen in the Clubhouse parking lot (thanks to Darren Christianson and Michele Stans).    
 
And we haven’t forgotten about our dogs- there will be dog treats for any dogs that happen to stop by.

 

Section 1 will also be having a Halloween Bash at their Clubhouse, so they will be sending their Trick or Treaters our way and we will be sending any that come to our section their way as well.
 
If you have not seen the large display of Halloween Decorations in Section 6 on Sawyer Brown Rd., you should check that out (it is amazing)!  Jennifer, the owner of this display, said that she will send any Trick or Treaters our way as well.
 
If anyone has any extra Halloween decorations they would like to donate for this event, please let me know.  We will return them once the event is over.    
 
Also, if anyone wants to bring/donate any extra wrapped candy in treat bags or help hand out the treat bags, please let me know as well.
 
You may bring chairs to watch movies, but please leave appropriate space for our trick or treaters so they feel safe to come get their candy.
 
We will be watching the weather for that night, and if it looks like rain, we may move to Saturday night.  We will alert everyone in advance.
