2021 Board Member Candidates

Shannon Schwarz (505):

Tom Stocker (529):

This is Tom Stocker in Unit 529, and I am asking for your vote as an RP2 Board Member in the Upcoming Election.  When Chris McBride moved away from the RP2 Community and could no longer serve on the Board, I was appointed to replace him as an Interim Board Member, specifically as the HOA Treasurer.

Regarding my Qualifications – for 9 years, I held the Board of Director’s Treasurer Role for a Condominium Complex in Sylvan Park.  During my Tenure, I was instrumental in soliciting Bids for Repairs and Services, approving and overseeing Projects, and at the same time, working within the Various Budgetary Constraints which were delegated to me.  In addition, I continually researched more Cost-Effective Options than what was currently in place without sacrificing any Safety or Quality Concerns to our Residents.

In regards to my Career – for the past 18 years, I have managed Retirement Plans for Companies, and I am currently managing approximately $648Million in Assets on a Daily Basis.  Prior to this Role, I was a Financial Advisor, and also a Financial Planner for several years.

Based on my Prior Board of Director’s Experience, as well as my Financial Services Experience in working regularly with Projects, Budgets, and Assets, I feel that I will continue to be effective and accountable by remaining in my Current Board of Director’s Treasurer Role.  And I would appreciate your Vote of Confidence to help me in this Endeavor.

Tracey Wood (212):

It’s an honor to be considered for River Plantation Section II Community Board.  I would like to take this time to introduce myself.  My name is Tracey Wood AIFD, CFD and I am originally from Columbia, TN.  I’m a graduate from MTSU with a degree in Education and American Floral Design School in Chicago.  I’ve been in the floral industry most of my life.  My family ran a florist in my childhood, so it has been a fixture in my life.  In 2014, I established Mum’s the Word Flowers and grew that business until February 2020.  I became a team member at Bellevue Florist in Bellevue this passed June.  I have come to love the area and the lovely community feeling River Plantation embodies.  I haven’t met a lot of you, but those I have met have welcomed me to the community and I thank you for doing so.  I would love to serve the community I have come to love.  As a board member, I will do my best to support and better the community I am now a part of.  If you see me out, please say hi.
